2020 has been a year of unexpected hardship for many in the West Plains community—and the Harlin Museum would like to help make the end of the year a little brighter with a special holiday competition!
During the month of December, the Harlin Museum will be hosting, “Decorate-A-Tree For Charity,“ a fun holiday event that will help raise funds for charitable organizations in our community while also spreading the holiday spirit to all those who come to see the magical display.
Local businesses, community organizations, and even private groups will participate by decorating Christmas trees in the museum’s gallery and choosing a local non-profit or other charitable cause for their tree to represent.
Visitors to the museum will then be able to vote for their choice of the best-decorated tree by making a donation in any amount they choose to the tree of their choice. At the end of the month, all voter contributions made will be given to their respective charities AND the tree with the largest total donations will win the 2020 Holiday Spirit trophy!
