This workshop will focus on teaching the graphic techniques of creating scratch art, which are used to create value drawings and can be made into black & white, color, or even metallic images.

During the course of this four-hour workshop, each student will be creating a scratch art painting of their own, using the learned technique, to take home. Registration is required; please pre-register ASAP if you wish to order to allow for proper set-up spacing and materials. Registration may be completed via phone, email, or online through the museum’s website. Attendees may pay at the door upon arrival to the workshop.

Drinking water will be provided; students may bring other drinks and snacks as they please

All art supplies for this workshop will be provided. Students may bring:

  • A picture/image to use as your design
  • Pen and paper for taking notes
